Jewish Religious Community in Krakow

The community has about 130 members and continues the tradition of the community founded 700 years ago. It is one of the seven Jewish Communities in Poland that are included under the umbrella of the Jewish Religious Communities of Poland (JRCP). Its main goal is to support Jews living in Krakow and South-Eastern Poland (including Krakow, Tarnow, and Nowy Sacz).

JCC Krakow is the primary institution providing social, educational, and community oriented services to the Jewish community of Krakow. Opened in April 2008 by HRH, The Prince of Wales, the JCC has quickly established itself as the focal point of Jewish life in the city both for Krakowians as well as visitors from Poland and abroad.
